Meeting in a nice Resturaunt, quiet enough to have clear conversation, an enjoy each other, or a picnic, in a park or by a lake or river, with plenty of time to talk an get aquainted,
That's almost impossible to answer; there are so many variables to consider. It could be anything from dinner and a great movie to a Star Party or the Commemorative Air Force's annual AirSho in Midland (TX).
A coffee at Starbucks, a drink at the mandarin or just a plain ole walk on the Boston Common (weather permitting)......focusing on the intellectual bandwidth of the young lady in question.

a nice time, good conversation, no going back to reminisce about the bad past, let's move on let's talk about the future the past is past and we can't change it, discuss current events without getting upset about politics or religion we all have our own beliefs and convictions and deserve mutual respect we can decide on a setting that will be confortable for both, a public place, a restaurant, the mall or maybe a park, i am just a simple but responsible and respectful person

What I would like on my first date is to go out for a drink with you and my two best friends who are married. Just sit and talk and get to know each other. If things go well , we can separate. I hope to have good conversation and maybe some laughs. Nothing too fancy. I'd like us to meet on my territory.
My perfect first date would not actually have to be perfect. How could it? We don't know each other. So I think it should be somewhere quite so we could talk and get to know each other. Then when we are ready we can have... see more >>

A public place to talk over a nice meal to find out if each of us has what each of us is looking for.....We will both know by the time the table is cleared...
Just a vfew cocktails while getting to know one another a little. First impressions are a BIG thing to me. If you aren`t interested, then lets not waist each others time. Believe me I`ll understand..

Our perfect first date would be to meet in a public place for a coffee or a glass of wine somewhere quiet so we can chat and get to know a little about each other. Then go on for a meal somewhere of your choice, a nice restaurant, or somewhere we can carry on our conversation..... There will be plenty of laughter, because we both love to laugh and much interesting and light hearted chat. I will take you home and we decide we would like to see more of each other, sealed with a goodnight kiss. X
My first date would come after conversation. I would choose to have dinner in a relatively quiet restaurant where we might be able to hear each other speak, some place with a romantic atmosphere.
Probably coffee, something light for both of us. Nothing worse than trying to figure out how to say goodbye to someone that you do not 'click' with, in my opinion. No one wants their feelings hurt.
I'd like a first date, or meeting, to be very casual. A Saturday or Sunday lunch, just talk and see where it goes. Sometimes when there are no great expectations you will be very pleasantly surprised.
